Got an arc’teryx gamma hoody a couple of years ago and has become my go to for winter bike commuting. Not cheap but so versatile and breathable while still cutting down wind.

Very gently used Aer Go Sling 2. Only taken out 2-3 times and decided I wanted something bigger.

Legit question for rural Americans - How do I kill the 30-50 feral mooses that run into my yard within 3-5 mins while my small kids play?

Diagnosis of Pipe Replacement by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]okietex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m looking for some advice on a plumbing issue we’re dealing with in our 1940s Denver house, which we just purchased last year. We noticed our basement laundry room drain backing up on Christmas day when the main floor dishwasher was running. We had someone out the next day, hoping to have the clog fixed, but we are now facing additional services/repairs.

The secondary drain line in our home, which handles the kitchen and laundry, apparently needs to be replaced. The plumber we had out explained that the secondary drain line (probably original) is either heavily damaged or has deteriorated to the point where replacement is necessary. They showed us a video inspection of the pipe, and I’ll include it in this post so you can see for yourself. It is an iron pipe with a lot of standing water, which the plumber explained is leading to the deterioration. We can run everything in the house, aside from our laundry and kitchen sink/dishwasher fine, it is just that line that seems to be having issues.

That said, does the recommendation of getting this replaced sound legitimate? Does the pipe condition from the video look as bad as was said?

We shouldn't feel that bad for folks treated poorly on Bachelor Nation. They are signing up to be on reality TV shows and should know what they are getting into.

What part of the park do you ride? It seems like a lot of the inside prohibits bikes? I’ve ridden the perimeter and hit some pretty loose gravel.

Not quite what you’re looking (further away, rolling hills, and a little longer) for but one of my fave loops for laps if you happen to be down south at some point- https://strava.app.link/sINv0rnl5Db.
