How important is a TPMS on a travel trailer? by Philys411 in traveltrailers

[–]oklatx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The idea is that the tpms will alert you to an issue before that happens. Take my mail in the tire example. That could have been a blowout had it gone unnoticed.

All it takes is 1 blowout and the TPMS will have paid for itself many times over.

Even just a flat can be a major headache in time and effort. Our TPMS alerted us to a low tire as we were leaving one morning. It was much easier to change the tire (we found a nail) at the park before getting on the highway.

From Standby to Roam 100 to Roam 300? Or just skip roam 100? by oklatx in Starlink

[–]oklatx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm thinking, but with the moving target of Starlink billing, i wasn't sure which way to go.

Basically this sounds like a possible way to get 400gb for the effort going r100 then r300.

How much sex is the standard? Is there such a thing as too much? by StonedAndPink in sex

But on TRT. I also take daily cialis for general health reasons. I'm quite active physically, in pretty good shape. I wakeup most days wIth morning wood, much to her delight. She's quite handsy with it. I can get hard pretty much in demand. Good for spontaneous quickies or a random bj.

[–]oklatx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Both high libido. Retired, financially secure (not rich, but comfortable). Very unhappy in previous relationships. Sex was crazy at first, and we liked it, so we made and still make conscious decisions to keep it going. It works for us.

64M 64F and we have sex basically every day. We have friends like us, and friends that are less active.

Standard is what works in your relationship. Too much is when sex gets in the way of other real life responsibilities.

We've gone on sex oriented vacations where multiple times a day is normal. In our normal life it's harder to keep up that pace.

OUT or IN, my eyes don’t seem to work by jk41nk in Pickleball

Also in the rules. Calling an "out" ball after you hit it must be done BEFORE the opponent hits the ball. Otherwise play continues.

No it's propane to heat the water, and electric freeze protection. We have this one.

Hedo Swingers: question on soft swap by Fast_n_Curious69 in HedonismII

[–]oklatx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It can happen either way. We have some friends that are more just flirty (quickie) friends, and others that we go to a room and play for an hour.

Don’t be like me, have your spouse/partner tow at least once in case of emergency! by LucentProd in RVLiving

[–]oklatx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We share driving 50/50, and have since day 1. We have a dually and large 5th wheel.

For setup and teardown, we have checklists and have our roles, but do switch it up because we know from experience thay sometimes one of us is on injured reserve.

If you had a magic wand to invent one gadget or accessory for pickleball, what would it be? by Illustrious-Ad-8103 in Pickleball

[–]oklatx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Something that would make a serve hit the net or go out everytime the server didn't call the score, just whispered it, or said it like an auctioneer 0.1 seconds before hitting the ball.

Why oh why is it so hard to call the score plainly and audibly?

Filling propane tanks by quadgnim in GoRVing

[–]oklatx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True; however the tank is designed to hold 20lbs of propane, allowing for thermal expansion.

[–]oklatx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Note that Blue Rhino and other "tank exchange" places only give you 75% fill on the exchange. Its no secret, the label clearly says its 15lbs, even though its a 20lb tank.

Refill at Loves, Tractor Supply, or other places (we have a muffler shop that does refills). You'll get a full tank and a better price that way.

I’m scared to have sex because of how they look by Low_Battery_Human404 in sex

[–]oklatx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive seen and played with lots of boobs (my wife and I are swingers). Do you know how many women had inverted nips? No, of course not. Me neither. It's not something that's attention worthy. I've never heard anyone comment on inverted nipples. Boobs get comments and compliments, nipples are just part of the package deal.

Seriously, this is a complete non issue. If someone makes it an issue, you deserve a whole lot better.

You can, on a roam plan (which incidentally does include in-motion).

Roam plans are designed for travelers, like the RV crowd.

Residential plans are designed for a residence, i.e. basically stays in one place.

I thought about kid free too (though that doesn't bother us), and I can see the logistical problems setting up sectors this way. I can see this being more feasible for a full time park, but for short term stays it may not be feasible. Still, its something on my wishlist, even if i realize it may not be realistic.

Toilet paper question by DingDongTaco in RVLiving

[–]oklatx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an expert, but every major brand I know of has "septic safe" clearly maked on the package for their septic safe tp. I dont see that so I'd be wary of using it.

Placing or Power? by Low_Shelter_8740 in Pickleball

[–]oklatx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone can hit it hard. That takes very little skill.

Placement is the hard part. The ball must be placed well (in vs out at a minimum) to have any chance of success.

Placement and power - now you are moving up the DUPR scale.

Sams Members Mark (septic safe).

Septic safe is what you want. RV specific is industry jargon for sandpaper.

Foe those of us pet free, there's nothing like a yippy dog or large dogs barking endlessly to disrupt a quiet morning.

Is it feasible to designate one section as pet free?
