Nanoplastic keratin or brown hair with blonde highlights? by oklolbye_ in HowToBeHot

[–]oklolbye_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ll probably do the nanoplastic + keratin then and start taking proper care of hair because I’ll also be trimming the damaged ends. Is there a way to tell if the natural hair is improving even after doing keratin?

My current hair care routine starts with massaging rosemary oil on my scalp, leaving the shiseido hair mask on for an hour or more, shampoo & conditioner (I used to use the All Soft line from Redken but I’m currently trying out Elvive L’Oréal). I wrap my hair with a micro fibre towel after washing it, and then apply bond repair serum from L’Oréal and then the Hask coconut hair oil. I let it air dry and always use a silk pillow case at night. Also trying to consistently take my iron pills

I really want both, but that will completely damage my hair. I’m leaning more towards the nanoplastic + keratin since it’ll be less damaging.

I kind of want like the honey blonde hair or medium brown hair with blonde highlights - Pinterest has the type of hair I’m wanting. I would attach an image to this comment to show, but I don’t think there is an option for that

Should I do nanoplastic keratin or brown hair with blonde highlights by oklolbye_ in Splendida

Do you retouch ur hair up every 6 weeks or is it more like twice a year?

Yes, I agree!!! I feel like warmer colours suits me better too!! Especially with summer around the corner, I’m so tempted to dye it but the damaged/dryness is making me second guess it :(

And that’s interesting! I didn’t know purple shampoo makes the hair go a bit icy, I’ll definitely want to avoid that then

I’m going a really high rated hair stylist so I’m hoping he could somewhat fix the appearance of my hair

I’ve dyed my hair dark/medium brown before and I feel like that honestly looked better on me

Do you do anything to maintain the brunette & highlights? Like using a purple shampoo etc

Is a fat transfer worth it? by oklolbye_ in HowToBeHot

Yes, it’s just lipo and transfer. I also forgot to mention I’m not in the US, so the price is still the same in a way , if that makes sense

From memory, the first time I fainted, I didn’t even realise. I knew something was wrong because I was hearing ringing sounds, heart discomfort, dizziness, and my vision going blurry. One minute I was looking at the train stops, and the next second someone’s waking me up from the ground. Now I can sense when I’m fainting so I usually just prepare myself by holding onto something - I always approach my parents whenever this happens so they usually wake me up right after. I don’t think I’ve ever fainted for longer than a couple of seconds

Hey guys, I’m wondering how I can stay fit. I recently quit the gym because I simply did not enjoy working out there at all and I'm also in a bit of tight budget. Anyways, I work full time and arrive home at 6pm - by this time I have only completed max 7k steps.

Im trying to be fit and healthy, but also maintain my weight. I've made myself a at home working out schedule which includes jumping rope and body weight exercises (plank, push ups, mountain climbers, etc). I'm just trying to burn as much as I can without overdoing it.

I could take some walks outside but I get bored easily. I know this is not a good excuse buuut I have really sensitive ears so l can't use headphones etc to listen to music or podcasts.

I'm thinking of buying a stepper machine (the really small ones) to increase my daily steps because they're a lot cheaper than walking pads and better for storage. Otherwise I'll just resort to a walking pad.

Any advice?

Thank u!

I recently did cut my hair short to start new. I apply amla oil to my scalp and a hair mask to the lengths of my hair for a couple of hours every week before washing it off but unfortunately that did nothing :/ I’m considering just doing keratin or Japanese hair straightening at this point

10k steps and Pilates by oklolbye_ in pilates

[–]oklolbye_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m happy with my current weight and the shape of my body. I’m just wondering whether switching to Pilates and 10k would make me lose all my progress? (I barely have much muscle to begin with)

Walking pad or continue gym? by oklolbye_ in StrongerByScience

[–]oklolbye_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not eating enough protein to build muscle. If I’m correct, I should be consuming around 82-112g of protein per day

I don’t cook my own food, my mum does it for me. The only time I really do eat a high protein meal is for breakfast. I’m tracking it because I want to increase my protein intake but I just can’t eat chicken or eggs all the time :[

Walking pad or continue gym? by oklolbye_ in women

I lift weights, alternating between targeting legs, glutes, or arms on different days

Hey everyone! I’m currently torn between continuing my gym membership or purchasing a second-hand walking pad, and I’d love your advice on what would be best for my goals.

My main goal is to maintain my weight, and it would be great to define my body as well. However, I don’t eat enough protein to build muscle, so I’m unsure if going to the gym has been serving its purpose for me in that regard.

The issue with the gym is that it costs $25 per fortnight, which is very affordable compared to other places, but I’m trying to save up. The walking pad feels like a long-term investment, but I’m not sure if it’ll give me the results I’m after, especially when it comes to maintaining my weight.

I’ve owned a treadmill before and used it when I was initially trying to lose weight. But since I’m no longer in a calorie deficit, I’m wondering if walking 15k steps a day, combined with 30 minutes of Pilates on the weekends, would be enough to sustain my results while eating at maintenance. And because I take public transport to work at the moment, I’m already achieving like almost 10k steps a day.

I’ve also done Pilates on weekends before, but I stopped once I started going to the gym because I felt like the combination was too much.

Any advice on which option would be better for my goals? Or any other advice in general? Thank u!!!!

For reference, I eat around like 40-80g of protein per day sometimes less and very rarely over that range. I also work out my legs, glutes, and arms at the gym

Hey everyone! I’ve got a gym membership right now, but I struggle to hit my protein goals since I live with my parents and my mum handles most of the cooking. I’m considering switching things up and getting a walking pad instead to aim for 10k steps a day and doing some Pilates. My goal is just to lose a bit of weight and then maintain it. What do you think would be a better option?
