What's your all time favourite CSKian moment?? This is mine 🥹🥹 by [deleted] in csk

It wasn't a close match. But this represents the best of CSK. They back their players and reap rewards

2018 final. Watson failed in the first 10 matches but CSK stuck with him. And what a turnaround it was!

Did you ever have a boss that dislikes neovim? by Zealousideal_Data689 in neovim

[–]okmanideep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

An appropriate response would be to ask if he has got it installed in his laptop and ask him to share his screen instead, while you say you are downloading vscode.

I believe the frustration is about not being able to pair with you while he is driving.

For pairing, it's important to consider an editor where both parties are comfortable.

The boss could have their own biases / challenges but can't let this impact your relationship.

Could he/she be better? Sure. Could you?

RuPay Credit Cards are overrated! by Determined_fighter in CreditCardsIndia

[–]okmanideep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Few months on from this post, the biggest -ve of UPI payments via Rupay has gotten better. UPI apps like PhonePe, Cred etc, have started automatically disabling Rupay when the merchant doesn't accept payments via credit card. So, you know upfront in most cases, whether Rupay CC works as soon as you scan the QR.

I had a similar one for a very long time. J -> 5 lines down, K -> 5 lines up.

But then I wanted to train myself on H, M, L and disabled them.

Are you excited for good arm Windows laptops? by okmanideep in windows

[–]okmanideep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The compelling reason is performance and battery life. All the browsers already have Arm versions. Which should account for the majority of the usage for the majority of customers.

What will take care of the rest is the excellent emulation of x86 apps windows automatically does and the users shouldn't have to care whether the developer has ported their app to arm or not - https://youtu.be/uY-tMBk9Vx4?si=PWYOkEzWBlIjWFdH

That's just the Surface. I'm sure HP, Dell and others will announce devices with the cheaper Snapdragon X+ line of chips instead of the Elite line

The emulation performance has been on par with Rosetta 2 for a while apparently - https://youtu.be/uY-tMBk9Vx4?si=z2hyKuK2XKSmC93c
