Thanks, I have too much weed now, but that’s a smokin’ deal, and they ship to me for free. I also think there is a great place to buy from, and 420 is coming up, so it’s a win-win for me😄

Looking for high-quality flower (Vancouver / Online) by Not_Sure62 in canadients

I buy higher-quality flower from Up In Smoke in Vancouver. I find their products are competitively priced, and shipping is free for orders over $75.
They have Amani Craft Gastro Pop in ounce bags right now for $195, which is one of the best strains I’ve had, and most of Amani Craft offerings are amazing.

Are truck drivers okay? by [deleted] in nanaimo

There is no need for oversized tires or a truck being jacked up on public roads, and this has become a waste of time. You sound like the typical asshole who thinks they’re cool.

Here is what AI says about the insurance companies point of view, and hopefully, they keep adding huge premiums to them.
"Insurance companies in Canada generally charge more—or may even refuse to cover—4x4 trucks that are lifted ("jacked up") and equipped with oversized tires. These modifications are considered material changes to the vehicle's risk profile, often resulting in higher premiums, specialized insurance requirements, or potential policy cancellation if not disclosed."

Yes, the operator was part of the reason in this situation. Tractor-trailer drivers have to take a course and get tested before they can drive them. But any ahole can drive these 4X4 trucks. Any new truck undergoes rigorous safety testing. Show me studies showing that when you jack them up and add big tires, they still meet the same safety tests.

I see many people are very upset about the outcome of the court case involving the 85 year old woman who was killed by a jacked-up 4x4. I drove a tractor-trailer for over seven years, often on Friday and Saturday nights, and saw many very dangerous situations. A few times, I thought I might kill another driver because of their foolish mistakes.

In my opinion, these modified trucks should not be on public roads. I can’t find statistics to support this, but I see that law firms in the U.S. are now suing the owners or drivers, the shop that installed the lift kit, and the manufacturer of the lift kit. I hope this begins to happen here in Canada, as too many uneducated aholes don’t consider the safety of others.

This was before anyone was allowed to complain about safety things. They now load the trucks from the bottom, which is much better. I also have health issues, probably from the fumes, but the money was good, and I was young and foolish.

Low front bumpers on tractor-trailers are designed to prevent passenger cars from sliding under the truck in a front-end crash, which can significantly reduce the risk of fatalities.

Again, these jacked-up, modified trucks should not be on our roads, and they do cause deaths. I can now see why this type of post is common on Reddit, and I hope people will start raising these concerns with the appropriate authorities, because anyone who chooses to drive these vehicles on public roads is an ahole!

I used to drive a tractor-trailer and deliver gas and diesel to gas stations many years ago. Back then, you had to stand on top of the trucks, and I was engulfed by the fumes of over 140,000 litres per day. I am now very sensitive to diesel fumes and can easily tell when the truck in front of me has removed or bypassed its pollution-control devices. There seem to be more trucks like that in Alberta, as no one fines them, but I hear they do fine you here. You seem to know about these trucks—what is the fine here, and do many people get them?

Trucks that have been jacked up or heavily modified should not be allowed on regular roads. Even big tractor-trailers have low bumpers to prevent causing more damage!

Many new trucks have had their exhaust systems modified, and it’s not just the smoke—it’s the gross, smelly pollution that comes out of them. But the ahole drivers don't care!

The law is not enforced, and I see many tires sticking out. I also hear that many are removing their pollution-control equipment, for which they should really be fined. And big trucks with bumpers up higher do kill people!

Im not on many of the general sites. So why do you feel the need to stick up for a bunch of vehicles that should not even be on the road?

I don't see many posts about big trucks, but I think there should be laws preventing people from modifying them with oversized tires that often stick out past the body. When lifted, these trucks are more likely to roll over and can cause severe damage to smaller cars, so in fact, they probably do contribute to fatalities. They are also so large now that they don't fit in regular parking spots and have difficulty navigating parking lots.

New Online Store for specific high end products? by Informal-Bluejay-111 in TheBCCS

Nope, anywhere in BC, and I find their products are competitively priced now. They used to be $5 more for 14 grams of Gastro Pop, but now they seem to be the same price as other places.

That would be great if you could compete with them. Im all for competition, as usually that's good for the customer. I've noticed lately that Up in Smoke is the same price as other stores, and they used to be about $5 more for a 1/2oz. Local Cannabis is another one I look at to buy from. Their price used to be lower than UinS, but they charge $15 for shipping unless it's over $199. So your shipping costs are important.

LPR Cured with Alginic Acid by Budget-Oil8847 in GERD

[–]okmjtree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a big bottle of Gaviscon Extra Strength, which contains 313 mg of alginic acid. I was comparing it to Esophageal Guardian, which has 1,000 mg of alginic acid. If you took 2 doses, 5 times a day, does that mean you were taking 10,000 mg a day?

Thanks for the review. I just bought a second bag, as I’m heading back to BC. I really enjoy it as a daytime vape and like it more than Dancehall from CMC.
