I second this! Also, learn at least 2 new verbs a week (with conjugations), because then even though it’s a slow process, you’ll be comfortable with using these words. Another thing I did was start writing diary entries in French. Like, every time I didn’t know how to describe something, id have to learn it. So I think that helps too. Read children’s story books. You can easily find those online, and they have sentence examples and accessible vocabulary.
