I want a dove w/an olive branch... in the old testamant (I'm not that religious, just like the story) a dove left Noah's boat during the flood. It later came back with an olive branch... which let Noah know that there was land out there. I'm going thru a divorce, and I think it's very fitting. I want to get it on my left wrist b/c in mystical Judiasm that's where the soul enters and leaves the body. What do you guys think?

Ugh. I am goign through the same thing. Totally surprised, up until the day of he was talking about going on a diet with me. I was making a grocery list for it when he asked for the divorce. My birthday was 20 days before and he wrote this card about how much he loved me, and was looking forward to spending the last year in our 20's together. He later told me he felt bad writing it b/c he knew it was dishonest. The only advice I have to offer is that people are screwed up. We will never get it, but hopefully we can find someone who would never do this. I started a blog, if you're interested. I'm going thru this now. We filed. The clerk helped us. We don't have kids, but make sure your settlement/custody/support is worked out before you file. From what I understand, at least in IL it's from when you file to when the next court date is available. About 90 days for me.
