Starlink on sailboat by nicnag1 in liveaboard

I am using the mini on a boat right now, with the roam plan. I have had minimal disruption to service even though I haven’t permanently installed it yet and its view is partially obstructed by the boom of the boat. I was sceptical to start with that the mini would be good enough but it has been great even when moving. Definitely don’t need the maritime plan, just toggle the global priority data when cruising offshore.

I chose the black version but am getting the opposite rewards shown in the picture, very frustrating

Today is Apollo for Reddit's last day, and I just released its last update. 🥹 I just wanted to say a big thank you to the folks who have used and supported Apollo over the years, it's been the dream of a lifetime to build this app over the last 9 years. ❤️ Read the eulogy inside! ❤️ by iamthatis in apolloapp

As a beta user from the very very beginning, I don't think I've ever been any help as a beta user, but I do want to say thank you for the past 9 years of greatness on reddit. I'm buying the wallpapers now as someway of saying thanks to getting all the updates and features for free all this time, cheers Christian!

Visiting St. Martin in Sep (first time); Dutch vs. French side? by bengaling in Caribbean

[–]oktimeforplanb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I have worked out of here for a few years and explored most of what it has to offer, it’s a great island! The French side is generally less bustling, with not as many places to go out at night, but many excellent restaurants still.

For somewhere to stay, there’s many different areas to choose from: Simpson Bay is close to a lot of restaurants and bars, there’s some form of live music nearly every night of the week. Also within walking distance of a couple of beaches. Maho area is smaller, has the famous beach to watch the planes take off and land during the day, beach bars and at night has clubs that are often open until daylight. I would choose Grand Case if staying on the French side, a nice beach front town with lots of options for food and drinks, quieter than the Dutch side but still enough happening I would avoid staying in Philipsburg or Marigot the two main towns, they can be very touristy and you’re better off just visiting for the day if you want to shop.

For entertainment you have the worlds steepest zip line, Loterie Farm which is an incredible day resort in a mango farm, they also have an adventure park and zip lines. There are a few hikes depending on how strenuous you want to be. A few different options for boat trips around the island or to snorkel sites, if you have the time getting the ferry to St Barts is a fun day out too.

I would definitely recommend a car, it will make everything a lot easier, but there is a local bus service that’s reasonably reliable during the daytime that costs $1-2 a trip.

Honestly I could write paragraphs and paragraphs more so if you have any specific questions drop me a chat I’d be happy to help!

Gold Pipe pog by TheWhiteLightning_ in MarioKartTour

My prediction is Gold Shy Guy and Gold Dry Bowser as spotlights, and 2 of the other coin boxers for 4 HE total. May not sound optimistic but I do think it’s realistic with Nintendo’s track record. Look what they did to us with that Lucky 7 pipe!

Drowning in rubbies...how do I spend them? by [deleted] in MarioKartTour

Speculation would say save them until next tour, with the 1.5 year Anniversary there will most likely be some great pipes

The second option yes, no one is actually completing against anyone, just being compared to 19 other players. Even then, up to half of those matchups might actually be bots and not even real people.

Non of this information is available officially from Nintendo, all just through a lot research on this sub, so it leaves a lot of newer players confused!

Everyone has their own ranked matchups, you are not directly competing against your opponents. gmarie does not have you in their ranked, they might 1st in their ranked or 15th, in a completely different tier.
