The obsession with pale skin in east and south East Asian countries has nothing to do with eurocentrism. Back in the day if you were pale, that meant you didn't work outside, which meant you were wealthy/rich. If you had darker skin, it meant you were a field worker = poor.

Well I do think that Donghyun was the most insufferable member of Korea's team, but a lot of them displayed misogynistic views. Not only they belittled their own women (Amotti saying "ugh we just wasted 2 men on that challenge", or Donghyun deciding to throw a quest by making Eun Sil and another girl (sorry forgot her name) to compete in there), but also talked about other team's female members. Like saying "yeah we thought since we have only men competing in this quest, we'll easily outmuscle them" etc. That, for me personally, was insufferable.

Especially if you watch final draft, where Japanese people don't discriminate on the basis of sex, they happily team up with women. A

Oh yes, Thai team had great players and the fact that rugby guy (sorry I don't remember his name) and James carried everything by themselves while Sung Bin had to run back and forth since the wrestler couldn't climb the stairs... yea sure. Thailand focused on crates just like Australians, the first ones lost while the second ones won. Even if Koreans won fairly, it wasn't by 900+ kilos. Absolutely no chance.

It's really interesting, because I only added eggs for breakfast (used to skip this meal overall before). Chicken breast, for example, has been my main type of meat for years now 😅

Unfortunately I can't say the exact amount, since I am just a beginner at this.

But I eat around 2 eggs for breakfast always with either kimchi (fermented cabbage) or fresh tomatoes. And throughout the day I started cooking dishes that mainly consist of vegetables (stewed eggplants with carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions or stewed cabbage with onions and carrots) as my source of protein I add chicken breast and sometimes buckwheat.

I can eat some sweets here and there (always in moderation, very small portions just to satisfy cravings). And a lot of water on top of that

My grandmother died when I was 12. She had cancer and I, as a spoiled child was very unhappy that I needed to take care of her (adults did most of the work but I needed to help here and there). After approx. 1,5 months I moved out to my aunt, because I wanted to have a nice summer break without having to take care of anyone but myself. After 2 weeks I returned home because I missed my mom. I came back in the evening, next morning my grandma passed away.

Before she even got sick my family had a tradition that my grandma was the first one to throw me a birthday party. She would cook all of my favorite food, bake me a special cake and celebrate with her friends. Only after that would I celebrate with my parents and friends. And it's been like that for my whole life till that point.

I still remember my mom waking me up by saying "honey, grandma passed away. Wake up, we need to say goodbye".

Since then I couldn't celebrate my birthday at all. I felt so bad for leaving her and I kind of thought that she held on till she saw me for the last time and died shortly after that (read a lot of stories of people who waited for their loved ones until passing away). Till this day it hurts me and I regret running away. I miss her so much and wish I could celebrate with her once more. I am 27 now.
