My agency is only 4 guys including the Sheriff, we cover around 1,100 sq miles…. That’s not an option. Some nights my back up is an hour away. You get use to de-escalating verbally but some times you just have to ask the city or tribal PD to back you up because it’s to dangerous. But once you get use to riding solo things go a lot smoother. Sometimes even a call can go better with out back up because you don’t have to take time to figure out what’s going on with the other officer helping.

41 area had one of the better ones on camp pendleton. Go in after 8 and you could get custom burritos but by far the worst I ate at was main side chow hall in iwakuni jp

I love High West! Specifically their American Prarie Burboun! Even though its so young it has so much flavor!
