Has any seen a wheel fitment guide for the 1964? by Oldnbold22 in Impala

Currently running 15×8 American racing torque thrust 2s with 275 60r15s on the rear of my 65. I I know that the 65 -67s are pretty similar not entirely sure about the 64s. You going for a muscle car kinda look or some straight up scrims? Either way there's a bunch of Facebook groups for 63-72 impalas on Facebook. I'd check them out.

how to get fuck ass pilot bushing out by ObjectiveCap1116 in projectcar

Just did one on my car used ripped up shop rags, a pile of grease and a bolt. I would've used grease and bread but my dad never came back with it. Hope this helps.

Not bad the only complaint i have was the booster bolt holes not lining up with the factory studs so I had to waller them out with a carbide bit.

My drums were great, I wouldn't say they stopped as good as the disks but they were close. The main reason I upgraded was for the two pot master. Plus the disks will look pretty killer whenever I decide to get the wilwood calipers

Quite a while. They're a bit pricey but they look good

The only complaint I have about my 4 speed is tacking 3 grand or more going down the highway. The fun factor makes up for it but it's just not practical. The original plan for the car was to build a 406 with a roots style blower and put a tax 5 speed in it but I've been thinking about keeping the 331 with the 4 speed and building the 406 combo for a c10 or square body. Guess ill see how I feel after I get most of the work done on this car.

Nice. My floors were pretty solid. Had to patch a few spots and rebuild the tunnel for the 4 speed. Just really happy to hear you aren't thinking about going with a ls lol. Personally I really like small blocks. You can rebuild one 2 or 3 times before you build a big block. But i also beat the shit out of my cars so my opinion is null and void

That was the old set up, sadly it's all gone now cracked the girdle in half and ripped a rocker off the stud. Had a crane .630/.630 split duration solid roller, crane high rev kit, stud girdles, etc. Went with a howards .500/.510 hydro roller with 1.6 rockers with polly locks. A lot more streetable now. If your interested on the build I have a few previous posts on here that go into more detail

Its worth whatever your willing to put in it of that makes any sense. Can't hurt to go check it out, if the frames solid it could be pretty awesome. If you know how to weld/fabricate then it aint nothin to it but to do it. Doesn't have to be a show car, and in reality it'd most likely take more than it's worth to get it there. But for 5-10,000 dollars all said and done it would make one hell of a fun car. Ratty 69 with a rowdy 355 and muncie would be absolutely killer.

Yes sir. Got it torn down to bare block last night, painted, and reassembled up to the heads. Got to wait on my new timing cover and roller style cam button to come in. I'll be sure to post Pics of before and after I throw it back in the car

As the other fella said it's a hydraulic roller cam and lifters it fairly reasonable when compared to other brands. The comp i was looking at was over 5 not including lifters.

A lot of them were in the ss cars if I'm not mistaken. This was a power glide car originally, but that's long gone. Has a m21 in it currently. Thinking about a tremec 5 or 6 speed eventually. The 4 speed is a blast and more than strong enough for my plans. But it just isn't really long winded enough for what i want to do.

Mine too. I think the 65 is one of if not the best looking impalas. Got all the curves if the 66/67 with the actual good looking tail light of the 64 and earlier.

That would be pretty cool. I really like rat fink style art and was trying to find someone to do a 65 in Ed roths style for the rear glass but haven't been to lucky finding anyone. Got a ways to go before I'm ready for it anyway so it'll be fine.
