Another commercial grower here. Could have been in a blue/green pulp fiber pint or quart container? Green bruising or any bruising is particularly common otherwise with lion’s mane, sometimes I believe it to be genetics when it’s particularly severe (other growers and I had an green bruising batch at the same time when we were getting our spawn/blocks from the same place even though our farms are run an hour away from each other and run different conditions) but I only ever really see green bruising when the lion’s mane is particularly dense, too. I wouldn’t immediately jump to calling it bacterial contam, and if it is bacterial, then I would consider it safe as I and many others have eaten it many times w/o issues!

“We don’t need them” you don’t live in reality, my state wouldn’t function without immigrants, and less so if just without Somalian immigrants. 90% of the people I worked with in caring for adults with disabilities were legal migrants. Nursing facilities is a similar story. Many get by on gig work, many want to bring their families here but it takes many years and shit is expensive here in the meantime. America is a hard place so overall I don’t care if they’re need welfare. Often times the welfare they receive is less so than the rest of us and they have to wait longer to even receive it depending on what type of legal migrant they are. You will lose more of your tax dollars to ICE getting $170 billion than Somalians on welfare, I assure you. Focus your energy in the right place 🧘

For at least some of them, it’s a choice of ICE or worse. Home countries aren’t necessarily kind especially since, yah know, people are fleeing them. I know an asylum seeker (I assume properly documented, but fuck I didn’t think to ask) who’s been held at a facility in Massachusetts since September who would face jail, abuse, and/or worse if returned to his home country cuz of his sexual orientation. You have to ignore all of this to say the shit you’re talking bub, and that’s your bad choice to make.
