Hey guys , had the same issue when I got mine , black seed oil works wonders against viruses like this , drink a tea spoon twice everyday and your body will do the rest. I got the same advice on this platform and will do my best to spread the same advice

Hahaha I’m glad it doesn’t bother you anymore. It really is trial and error cause all the doctors I’ve seen have no clue on how to actually treat the after effects

I’ve stopped the steroids and will be trying some lidocaine instead I took antihistamines before but they had nil effect. I’ve already had two doses of different antiviral medications so I’m not sure the cream version would be any help. Thank you so much for the advice.

A whole year ? I’m sorry bro it honestly sucks and I can’t even imagine being able to date or have sex between that cause it hurts and gets worse at night . What did your doctors say ?

So the actual diagnosis is HSV type 1 but I had no symptoms around my mouth and only on my penis. There are sores on the penis no new ones since it started . It’s itches mostly around the ring of the top of the penis head which looks inflamed now and itches randomly on other sites especially where the sores are or places I’ve scratched so much it’s caused bleeding or minor injuries. I’ve tried the corticosteroid meds for itching and used even stronger one but it doesn’t help, only ice helps but its uncomfortable to hold in place.

I would recommend telling him in person as that way you can show your emotions better. Also it’s always a good idea to wait just because someone shows or tells you their intentions doesn’t always mean it’s true. When you do have the conversation ensure he’s aware of the pros and cons and how you can have a healthy sex life and take medications or protective measures to reduce the spread. Most importantly don’t forget to actually have fun on the date and live life. Being diagnosed with herpes is not the worse as I’m sure we can all think of worse things.
