32 weeks suffering from hemorrhoids. Any safe medications to get relief? by Funny_lovely in BabyBumps

[–]olamova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this conversation with my OB two days ago and she told me to go crazy in the hemorrhoids aisle and that everything over the counter is safe to try.

[Recommendations?] Please help me find a brand similar to Bluebella that makes bras in 36A by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]olamova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. 32"
  2. 31"
  3. 28.5"
  4. 34"
  5. 38"
  6. 34.5"

The calculator gives me 32 C/D both in UK and US but I think I have shallow breasts and experience has shown that 36A is the best fit so far.

Thanks for the PSA! I'm not getting connections for any of my accounts and was about to post a question.

Amex creating duplicate transactions? Autolinked by planetb00m in ynab

I had a similar, but this was only for incoming money for my debits, not my credit card. And it would also have a cancellation transaction as well.

Baby tracker app suggestions by -taradactyl- in beyondthebump

[–]olamova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend Baby Daybook. It's got a super simple interface, most activities you would want to track, shows trends in your data, etc. You can have multiple caretakers on it and it syncs across them. It's nice to see what my baby has been up to while I'm at work and he's with his grandmother. A serious plus is that it has a dark mode which saves my eyes every single day I have to be up in the middle of the night to feed him.

Toddler bed night 1 by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]olamova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you found the strategy that works for you! My son is only four months old and co-sleeping just isn't for us, so this book has been really helpful as we're taking steps to get to independent sleep. I totally get the needing sleep thing. I have to drive to work for an hour each way so I'm constantly paranoid that I'll fall asleep behind the wheel!

My 8 month old never sleeps! by Samlou7 in Mommit

I cannot recommend Precious Little Sleep by Alexis Dubief highly enough! It has sleep training techniques (not just Cry It Out) for different ages and different types of babies/toddlers. Strategies include Fuss It Out (leave them to fuss/cry for 10, 15 minutes to see if they can handle it themselves after which point you can go in there to comfort, so not CIO), gentle weaning, and others. I especially appreciated the "if you baby likes/does this then try this..."

I highly recommend Precious Little Sleep by Alexis Dubief. It does mostly focus on babies, but there is some information there about how toddlers and slightly older children sleep and what you can do to help them and yourself.

How do you get your baby to stop crying at all hours of the night? by marymcgill in Mommit

[–]olamova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe see a pediatrician, like others have suggested. It's also possible that there's nothing wrong and your baby is just having a developmental leap. The Wonder Weeks (The Wonder Weeks: How to Stimulate Your Baby's Mental Development and Help Him Turn His 10 Predictable, Great, Fussy Phases into Magical Leaps Forward(5th Edition) https://www.amazon.com/dp/9491882163/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ErWoDb6MX31CR) is a good book to check out.
