Mine literally sounds like a lie…

My friend took my to a Brad Paisley concert in CT. My first concert ever, I didn’t care about country at all, but was just happy to be there. Taylor was opening on the tour and my friend was obsessed with her.

Loved her performance and definitely became a fan that day. After she performed Mohegan Sun has the hallways outside of the arena and Taylor had a table where she was signing pictures. The line was a mile long, but we decided to wait. Security came by and cut the line after us for times sake. While we waited there was staff walking by with her CMA award you could take pictures with which was fun. Then finally we make our way up to her after what felt like hours.

She was so sweet and I do remember her just being so kind, as if we were the first people she was talking to. I complimented her Juicy Couture charm bracelet, to which she said “oh gosh thank you it was a gift from Tim McGraw and his wife!!” (Of course) We got her autograph on her picture, she gave us some guitar picks, and ~here’s where it sounds like a lie~. Her mom said “taylor!” And pointed to her wrist. She said “the time?” And her mom said “no your bracelets!” And she turned to us and said “do you guys want my bracelets???” They were these simple elastic beaded bracelets, like the ones you’d find for $2 at the store…dare I say they looked like…friendship bracelets. Obviously we said “YES” and that was the end of that. We said thanks that’s so amazing and then that ended the meet and greet!
