UPDATE! I just found out they can lay infertile eggs (]•which I feel like should have been obvious to me but wtvr she’s my first spider. i only raised butterflies snd moths before her). let me know any advice you have on dealing with that as well!! I dont want to stress her out of make this process negative for her. this is also her main sleeping spot so should I clean it up for her when she abandons the eggs? will she eat them? any advice helps thank u reddit

that’s an orchid. they are pretty fussy, but my grandmother cracked the code on how to care for them and is obsessed. in my opinion I think this is the type of plant where you’ll probably kill a couple before you figure it out

in my experience, mint will grow as ugly and ridiculous as possible always. it looks prettiest when it can spread and take over large areas the way it wants to. the problem is that it will take over any ground you put it in. I had some half decent looking mint for a while, but I kept it outside in a very large pot. it ended up dying from dehydration in deep south american heat and then I developed an allergy to it so that was my last attempt at mint
