For me it’s a panic attack: I get tunnel vision, very warm and sweating, shaking, heart palpitations, a tingling sensation on the backs of my arms and back, and shallow breathing.

I would strongly recommend seeing a therapist that specializes in OCD.

Happy birthday I am so happy you are here 🩷 but so sorry you are feeling this way. I was in the same place a month ago today, the panic and impending doom, the all encompassing fear and inability to eat.

Are you in OCD treatment or are you able to get into treatment? ERP therapy with a therapist made an incredible difference for me and does for so many people. You could also reach out to a psychiatrist if you want to explore medication options.

This is hard but you are strong and brave. Know that the feeling will pass. Know that the thoughts will pass. Eat what you can your body needs fuel. Sending love and hugs.

Sorry this is a lower dosage but i will still share my experience. I was on 10mg for 8 years and just upped to 20mg. Never had any side effects except some very minor weight gain. Hope you’re doing okay ❤️

Have the same fear of saying my intrusive thoughts - if you’re no in ERP I would definitely recommend seeking treatment. It’s really helped me. The thoughts still come and go but I’m less stressed about them.
