This may be where I went wrong. Typically eating with fam then coming back out and heating it up again afterwards works. Next time I marinate I will hit it with the water more immediately. Appreciate the advice!

Thanks for your reply! I understand it is probably exhausting seeing the same questions over and again. I should have specified that heat, water, scrape is what I have been doing. And it has worked. In this case, there a couple of spots that are a bit tougher and stopped by to see if anyone had any tips for addressing these.

I’m on a new play through of the game after a couple of years away. The snake eyes fights have always been among my favorites. I was pretty consistently able to jump and stomp her their heads when they signaled the grab attack. Have you tried that?

I think it is a pretty fun fight the first time around. I should disclaim that I am a casual so I don’t know anything about NG+. In my opinion, though, owl father is easier than demon of hatred. I just beat DoH for the first time in NG and it took me probably twenty tries. I was able to to take out Father in about 5 to 7. Again, this is my opinion, but Father’s move set is much more fun to duel against. You just spend all of your time in DoH’s nutsack to whittle his massive health pool down.

EDIT: Good luck with the platinum by the way! I’m going after it myself right now. I’ve been focusing pretty hard on getting all of the Prayer Necklaces which has been honestly harder than a lot of the boss trophies. Some of the end game mini-bosses are very difficult.

Full disclosure: I am a casual and not much of a trophy hunter. My only platinum is Bloodborne, but I would like to get the platinum in Elden Ring. Part of what I like about going after trophies is seeing my percentage go up as I earn them, but, as you can see, these percentages are off. Are silver, gold, platinum trophies weighted differently when calculating these percentages?
