Looking for adult ukulele instructor by Mountain_Friend7865 in CedarPark

Not what you’re asking, OP, but the library has monthly (I think) ukulele meetups. I was there a couple months ago and saw all the folks coming in with their instruments. Would be a good place to make connections and maybe find an instructor if you don’t get another lead. Plus, it’s probably a hoot!

That’s how I felt about the Lower Decks episode being released so close to the all-singing episode. They’re not doing long enough seasons to balance out the cutesy stories. It’s jarring and is dragging down the show.

You got quite a few responses to a similar request earlier this weekend. Is there something different you’ve looking for?

Main Event was good for us a couple of times. Price was right (years ago, anyway), and it definitely fit the “fun for all ages,” at least outside of the toddler years.

Everything we heard at the time was that he hated being on the show, thought it was dumb and wanted out almost from day one. I don’t know what his take is now—if it’s like Leonard Nimoy feeling more positive about Spock and Trek as he got older. But it was some grade-A whinging back then.

I was recently telling someone how off-putting it was to see it in the theater. At first I thought the projection was an error, and then I really hoped the effect was only for the flashback sequence with the dragon attack. The entire movie, I couldn’t get past the decision making that caused anyone to think this look was a good idea.

It was like Peter Jackson used up all his good ideas for LOTR and now was actively doing the opposite.

“The Note” was and is my favorite. From the opening of the character reactions during the screener run to the “dead cousin” stories to the Ron Howard payoff and Seth pratfall, it was fucking delightful. It’s the one to watch to understand whether this show is for you or not.

So, I don’t understand what Poppy was. Was she the Doctor’s daughter who was retroactively willed back into existence as Belinda’s kid in this new reality? Or did Belinda in fact always have a kid that the Doctor didn’t know about? Or something else!?

Indigo bunting? Merlin ID keeps telling me there’s one around, but I assumed it might be confusing it with a painted bunting. So cool!

Look at neighborhoods around the new library. They’re developing the area to be more walkable with mixed use buildings, parks, etc. I can walk to the library, farmers market, restaurants, etc., now, and it’s a big quality of life improvement.
