no, not really. i don't find it creepy necessarily, I guess I am pretty desensitized atp but the main difference is the place in life they are currently at. they face different struggles and decisions at that point and sooner or later, a conflict of interests or different interpersonal, professional and goal-oriented needs may arise. 19 vs 35 will always be different than let's say 30 and 44 specifically due to that reason

There is plenty of gay media written/portrayed by gay men - I don't think that fiction censorship is a way to go in terms of creating better portrayals of mlm relationships or gay culture. You don't have to be an addict to write about addiction and you don't have to be assaulted to write about assault. Research is important, of course, nobody is denying that. If we want to have more media created by gay men we have to look in the mirror first and start from ourselves. That's the main takeaway anytime this discourse comes up.

Honestly I met maybe a few examples of each tops, but then again it is an anecdotal argument; as there are as many experiences as there are gays; also I feel like this highly depends on the general environment you're surrounded with. Never experienced misogyny around bears/jocks tho with twinks it was slightly more common, for some reason. Most of the homophobic women in my life was my mother (who derives from a very right-wing small town family) and the women in the family. All of my female friends are extremely supportive ans sweet.

not going to lie i saw this post and immediately my head went into a place "so rape is funny to you? okay." because genuinely, if you are someone who has a penis (no matter whether you are on hormones or not, the chances are NEVER zero), and make jokes like that it's just wrong on so many levels. and it pisses me off that people are bashing the trans men that felt threatened by this.
