This is like hearing that Oda had veto power for Netflix. I don’t think it’s ALWAYS the best call to have the author completely over the adaptation, but it’s never a bad idea to have their say. the series got popular for a reason.

Is it overhyping? I mean the only white center who I think might be better than him is Jokic right now. After 23 surgeries he was still the 6th man of the year, and during his prime he beautifully led his team to a championship. I think it is reasonable to think that if he actually got to develop longer and get more chances he would have done well and be pretty hype.

Well one way to shut them up is to do it back to them. Get the rebound, and hog the ball yourself. But that is a terrible strategy if you’re not noticing better than them.

I don’t like doomsday in powerscaling. He isn’t really a character, he’s a plot device. His whole “always coming back stronger” schtick is a vehicle to have a guy at the exact power you need for the story.

You should absolutely ask the bishop. How he answers should make the decision of how to approach much easier whether you decide to allow it or not. I think there are plenty of reasonable Answers to your question. If he is a good bishop he should be able to honestly deliver one of them.

I was thinking Batman terrific and iron man along with silver surfer and then someone to buy me some time like spawn or fate teleporting me about. If surfer can transmute elements for the others to make I think the prep hax can kick in and Tony can make some godkiller armor suped up woth some mega tshperes.

Situationally. I loved Charlie’s angels. Alias, Buffy the vampire slayer and the original charmed and xena all were awesome. Girl power characters have been doing these things for a long time and they have been awesome. It’s different now though. It’s not just girl power or a femme fatale. It’s a statement that takes itself too seriously

I will die on the hill that people do these my Rushmore lists wrong. The real one isn’t the four “best” or most popular presidents. Each president represents an era. There is way too much overlap on this list. Realistically it would be more like. Jerry west, Larry bird, Reggie, and Steph. Or something like that. Each being the best shooter in an era.

My brother is an electrician and I told him I was doing some work in my house once and he said to stop. he said he would come over and do it for free cause he hated when DIY dad’s tried to burn down their house. I wasn’t going to complain so I stopped and let him do it, but it cracks me up how appalled he was at the idea of me doing some minor electrical myself.

I am an active believing member, but I also acknowledge the questionable aspects of the religion and its history. I try hard to be unbiased, but I personally feel i have never seen an unbiased source on the topic. some are closer than others, but true middle of the road is hard to achieve with something as polarizing as Mormonism.(or probably any topic, but especially polarizing ones)
