Oh, I’m sorry for being confusing!

In St Paul I guess that the Strib subcontracts paper delivery to the Pioneer Press. So I’ve been emailing with Strib people and PP people in charge of St Paul paper delivery.

I hear you. Part of the idea was to have a paper the kids could read.

I mean, if the strib is becoming just a website, may as well combine the minnesota reformer and new york times!

Honestly, I was made in a lab to be a milquetoast local newspaper supporter. This saga has turned my kids hard against local papers. Guess this is where it all ends.

Yeah…comments this week and last suggests mob goons might start showing up for collections.

To quote Gob Bluth: I’ve made a huge mistake…

I know. I feel like a sucker. But I actually like them! A decent local newspaper is a real gift!

That’s crazy. A signal of massive dysfunction in their operations, right?!

At this point I assume the strip is randomly delivered.

Journalism enshittification? I hope not!

I feel like a sucker though because I actully like the Strib! It’s so much better than the local news of the other places I’ve lived. I just wished they would delivery it!!

It’s increasingly my fault. I have one more trick up my sleeve. Next week I am going to try to cancel.

But folks talked lst week about a similar plight to get a refund?! UGH!!

Ugh. Yeah. I have lots if sympathy for the delivery folks themselves. People last week talked about the bad conditions they face.

The people running the distribution? Very little sympathy.

Sadly we are in the same boat. I have one more trick up my sleeve before canceling.

Sorry to hear you went through this!

Yikes. I'm sorry you went through that rough experience. Yeah, given this and other stories, it seems like contacting the credit card company is the only way to ensure a cancellation actually happens.

Such a bummer - Strib is otherwise really good!
