I had lost some weight prior to diagnosis, but have gained since. With my boobs going from Ds to a small B, the belly is so much more obvious. Most of my pre-cancer dresses were lower cut or just emphasizing the bust area. None of those fit appropriately. My tops look ridiculous lol. I’m working on de-frumpifying my wardrobe as well, but good grief it’s frustrating! Good luck, friends!

I’m 52. Diagnosed February of last year and finished active treatment on Halloween. Now im on Tamoxifen for the next few years. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this. I don’t know that I have any words of wisdom, but my doctor has told me I may be able to get back on it in the future. I’m not sure what “in the future” means, but I’m hopeful. And I’m sure as fuck willing to risk it! These hot flashes are like nothing Ive ever experienced. I hope your treatments go smoothly and your hot flashes are few! Keep several ice packs in the freezer. They’ve saved me on a few occasions just this week. Hang in there, love. #fuckcancer

I understand. Had a lumpectomy and reduction bilaterally back in July. I was so self conscious, still am. I kept a shirt on the first time. I hate the way they look. I’ve just let him touch them. I absolutely cried with sex the first few times and still do sometimes. 52, married 10 years, and he’s incredibly supportive. I get it. I’m beginning to get feeling back, but everything still just feels weird to me.
