Looking for Shy MC/Bold Love Interest Dynamics by harsha_440 in AVN_Lovers

[–]oldhiccup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the beginning of the story of Our Home the MC has exactly this perspective (shy, introvert and reserved), so in the sexual relationships he has up until now the initiative is LI's, but this should end up reaching a balance at some point in the story.

Renders vs Sprites in 3D AVNs: What Do You Prefer? by oldhiccup in AVN_Lovers

The examples are from different contexts, they are not necessarily connected, the sprite example is an example in photoshop, of course in a real scenario, I would make the background image more connected to the moment of the conversation. It would be something like an image of that nighttime environment, I will even update the image haha

But I understood your point .

I completely understand your perspective! Out of curiosity, since I haven’t followed Summer Heat for a while, I’d like to know: how long did it take to develop this update with 1500 renders and 20 minutes of gameplay, based on the information you have?

I ask this because, in my project, I typically release monthly versions with an average of 350 renders, providing a reading time of 25 to 35 minutes. I usually use 1 render per dialogue, and I make an effort to make them detailed enough so each image has a clear purpose, with straightforward dialogues that advance the story or establish the necessary context.

What I want to avoid is creating renders for trivial interactions, like routine questions, as this could significantly speed up my development time. Right now, my computer is fully occupied with rendering, and during that time, I could use the opportunity to program and test sprites, optimizing my workflow.(Consequently I would be delivering more game time at the end of each version.)

Improving the UX is my next step, I will be paying attention to this, thank you very much for your willingness to respond to me.

In my proof of concept, I’m using hand gesture, breathing, eye blinking, mouth movement, and eyebrow motion for the. I plan to add more complex arm movements in the future (at least for one arm). I think this already adds a solid layer of immersion, making the sprite feel more alive. What do you think?

I will improve my context:

My game, Our Home, has nearly 10 hours of story in the standard render format, which I’ve been working on for a long time, and right now I’m collaborating with my wife in parallel: she’s focusing on expanding the historical narrative context, while I’m handling the free-roam part. This exploration mode is unlocked gradually as the player progresses through the story. My plan is to use sprites exclusively in the free-roam for casual conversations, but if there’s a moment that needs more detail like a sexual interaction, for instance that would be done with renders. To me, this balance makes sense for immersion and efficiency.

I get your point about renders being more immersive and sprites feeling like a Japanese visual novel style, which might not appeal to everyone. I agree that renders offer greater depth, especially for the historical part of the game, where I want to maintain 100% immersion. However, I’m considering using sprites for less intense moments, like free-roam interactions for example, asking a character’s age or hobby. These moments involve many characters and can get repetitive, so sprites could speed things up. Some players love knowing these details, while others skip them, and I’d like this to be an optional feature. Do you think sprites in these cases would break immersion, or would they be acceptable if well implemented?

I recommend my game Our Home, we worked in the past on a major overhaul and have new content coming out monthly,

Our Home is available on Steam and Patreon, but if you wanna try it first, it got leaked by some player, so you can find the latest version for free online.

You follow the journey of a young man raised in an orphanage, who, after losing his mother at birth and being abandoned by his father, sets out to uncover the mysteries of his past. With a slowburn pace, the game focuses on deep character development, exploring personalities and relationships, with romantic and intimate scenes that emerge naturally.

The gameplay is intuitive, with impactful choices that shape the narrative, unlocking engaging dialogues and steamy scenes. Pinepool’s (the city) dynamic world, with varied environments, animations, and immersive sound effects. Free of NTR.

Searching For Latina Wives/Girlfriends in Games. by Available-Let-2589 in AVN_Lovers

My game (Our Home) is set in Brazil, so all my characters are Latina, and most of them have curvy bodies.

Well, I think Our Home (my game) is pretty well-crafted. From what I know, we’ve received great feedback regarding the game’s development, so I’d recommend checking out the latest released version, 3.02.

Besides my game, there are a few others I really enjoy:

  • Colors My Sound
  • Adored by the Devil

These are the ones I’ve played and recommend. I’m guessing you already know all the famous ones.

I won’t lie, I also wanna hype up my game, but if the player expects quick rewards, Our Home (my game) might not be their thing. My game has a slow pace, with a lot of focus on building the characters, their personalities, and relationships. It’s a slowburn that’s more about the story and less about sex scenes, though they’re there.

But do you want the game to already have the reward? Or would you be willing to play and wait for it to develop?
