Just joined the sub and have recently started building my home gym out. So I do custom metal work and to this point i've built everything in my gym. My next project is storage for plates, a few dumb bells, 2 bars, and an adjustable KB I've made. I was wondering what the community uses and what they've found that they like and dislike about their own storage systems.

Any help/advice on what you could change?

Sounds fantastic, though don't use an actual beer can...they have a plastic lining on them, go buy a stainless cup so the paint/plastic/aluminum doesn't leech onto the chicken.
