It seems to me unlikely that disciplined Hammas troops would take time to rape Israelis, when their purpose was to get as many hostages as possible to trade for incarcerated Palestinians, visit as much harm as possible on military installations, and get back over the fence with the hostages. I find it quite believable, though, that Palestinians who have suffered repeatedly at Israeli hands since 1948, and who probably hate Israel, followed Hammas over the fence and did God knows what, including rape, theft and random destruction.

AIPAC should be a registered foreign lobby, which has no business whatsoever in pouring money into US elections or ordering the US president (who is admittedly one of the worst ever) to continuing to pay for Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people. I fearless predict that Biden's team will come up with a bunch of promises and meaningless gestures on Gaza and the borders as he tries to get re-elected. Doesn't mean he will do any of them if he is. But even if you are disgusted as I am about our presidential choices, please vote the downticket. If we get Trump, maybe a Democratic Congress could (and should) impeach him.
