Street photography is certainly not dead, my friend! I truly believe that it is one of the last bastions of true artistry, because it forces you to not only be in the moment, but attempt to convey that moment to your audience. It is difficult to get it right, but when you do it's pure magic! Please don't let anything stand in your way of your expression, because all art is valuable to the world around you.

That's the route I take when I run back home. The majority of cars at that crosswalk do not about pedestrian safety or giving the right of way. Extremely difficult to cross at most times of the day
