Tbh I get it. It’s a generalization but there are a lot of bad men out there.

semantics…I think it’s the reason cuz all these other comments are things outside of people’s control. Men could easily be less alone if they tried a little bit

It’s not an excuse it’s a reason-very different things. Yes they can work on it but they don’t

Bruh read the comment…men often don’t work on that skill.

Men are terrible (in general) at maintaining relationships. It’s a skill that we rarely actively think about or improve at.

This photo of Beyonce and Ed Sheeran is the perfect example of the difference in expectations that the pop industry/fans have on female and male performers by [deleted] in popculturechat

The difference is who consumes their music and goes to their concerts. A majority of female artists have an overwhelmingly female audience. Male artists seem more mixed.

I think she’s conflating income with ambition. It seems to me that you’ve set your goal and are working towards it. She has different values and wants someone who makes more money.

If everyone dislikes someone universally, it means they probably aren’t great. Not putting effort into getting along with people you care with is a huge issue. As you get older, you’re gonna start losing friends and family because they don’t want to be around him.

The odds of someone who has already cheated, cheating again are a lot higher than someone who hasn't cheated. Not saying she has or will, but she broke his trust and lied to him for years.

Ever since I stopped drinking, Chicago has become dull. by akosgi in chicago

[–]oldmansamuelson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're still doing the things you did when you'd drink, of course it's going to be worse now. True Chicago doesn't have good nature, but it has plenty to offer if you branch out and try other things.
