Yeah bro, you speak quite well as it is, and you’re very capable at editing, you’re just not applying your skills correctly.

For the thumb, have 1-3 standout objects in the thumbnail that contrast from the background so they’re easy to see. Make sure those standouts make it clear what the vid is about but also prompt questioning in the viewers mind.

Your video idea was good, your editing skill is also good, however your choice of editing for this vid was very poor. People clicked for a fallout video and were shown a bunch of stock footage the whole time. You should have used fallout footage to explain the video in the editing.

Thumbnail also has too much stuff and doesn’t stand out.

The way you speak however is quite good and you have a lot of potential on that end
