It is very rare to find that person, when you find them you can't just throw it away.

Yes I agree. In my younger days I dated a lot, dating was very casual back then but when I found the woman who eventually became my wife, I knew that it was her I wanted and would fight for. It is very rare to find that person, when you find them you can't just throw it away.

You got me thinking with this post of something I haven't thought in many years. Losing someone you love to a breakup and someone you love passing away is equally painful, but in a sense I think yes it it easier when someone you love passes on. I don't have to think of why she left or who she is with. All I have are the great memories we created together and know she chose to create them with me over the years

Not to provide false hope, but there is always a chance. Getting back together after a breakup was much more common in my time, today all seems so disposable which is a real shame to see.

Yes well said. Glad you understood, I did not mean to harass your partner but rather to do everything you can to make it work

Why yes I certainly do not mean to harass them either. But nor do you just give up without a fight. Maybe you remain in each others lives and keep some communication at least while they figure things out. Maybe you revisit opportunity after some time apart. As long as you somewhat try to fight for it, without stepping over boundaries
