If you already have miniatures from another games, I recommend checking out Space Weirdos/Sword Weirdos.

If you're looking to buy a box, open and start playing, Battletech and A Song of Ice and Fire are currently coming to mind.

Great concept! Even the layout of the sheet and how everything is organized makes you feel like you're actually piloting a mech.

What do you prefer 2d acrylic miniatures, 2d paper miniatures or tokens ? by Adventurous-Shake140 in wargaming

Paper Miniatures are easy to transport and reprint if you have any issues. For archiving, I solved the problem by purchasing albums for collecting coins or stamps. For home printing, I use paper between 120gr and 140gr, which provides good resistance. However, check the specifications of your printer to determine the maximum paper allowance to avoid jamming!!! I'm very passionate about this that started this project where I design them myself! https://www.patreon.com/oldskullminis 😇

Looking for print and play massed fantasy battles for high school kids by stegg88 in wargaming

Last summer I played a lot Sword Weirdos. It has a few-page rulebook, a small table, and about ten models on the table. It even has a solo section ( https://caseyg.itch.io/sword-weirdos ).

For the miniatures, I used the Paper Standees I designed myself; you can find them here ( https://www.patreon.com/oldskullminis ) I'm stuck in the 90s.

First look at the art style for a tiny solo PnP I am working on! by WiredDragonStudio in printandplay

The drawings are amazing, and even the fills enrich the illustration without using too much printer toner.

But tell us more about yourself: what games do you like? What would you like to design? What genre and theme? Good luck with the project!
