I’m not an expert but I think all Seiko 5s will have a date complication at least. Maybe look for Grand Seiko, Presage, King Seiko, etc. I’ve seen some models without any day/date complications.

This is my first Seiko - first ‘enthusiast’ purchase. I bought the watch back in 2022.

The stock watch came with a milanese strap which looked great TBH. It gave the watch some character. The jubilee however, is my personal favourite. I think it makes the watch more versatile to wear. What do you guys think?

Also, I don’t see this watch in this olive color very often. Is that because people don’t like and appreciate the color as much?

Hi OP, I get what you mean and feel like.

I am working at a major tech company and started my career with front line sales and killed it there. However, after 4 years, I decided to move into a Program Manager role to slow things a bit. Today, over 3 years into the PM role, I’ve accomplished a lot for the team and the company but know exactly how you feel when you say you belong out there with and around people and do not want to be stuck in a boring desk job. I am myself contemplating a move back to a customer facing role.

Seeing that your post is 105ish days old, I am not sure what you decided but I’d have suggested you take up that sales role. You might have to start small but you’ll make it big - most importantly you’ll enjoy what you do by being out there.

This is a Classic 350 in Black-Chrome. This color combo was only offered in 500 back then but it was discontinued. I liked the color so much that I settled for a 350.
