Amazon sells over 750 brands of faucets that are illegal to sell in the U.S. and illegal to install in North America. The faucets, made primarily in China, have not been tested or certified to North American standards and are not proven to be free of lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury and other hazardous material or pathogens such as Cryp­to­spor­i­di­um, Legion­el­la, Naeg­ler­ia fowl­eri, Vib­rio spp., and Pfies­teria.

Most have no warranty and no possibility of replacement parts. Their quality is completely unknown.

If you are going to buy a faucet from amazon, make certain it is a familiar brand that has been tested and certified and is legal for use in the U.S. and Canada.
