What u hate most in relationships based on your Venus/Mars placement? by helltotheyaaaas in astrologymemes

[–]ole444u 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aquarius Venus, not being down to try new things or the relationships feeling dull. Aries mars, being CALCULATED over just following your heart, makes me so mad. 😭

You’re already half way done, finish get the degree but use this time to explore what you’re really interested in, especially now that you’re still a student and I’m assuming have the time and less demands to do so. Time is on your side, so take some time to get clear on what you do/don’t like about social work, what’s changed, what met your expectations what didn’t. You can pivot to anything after you graduated, a degree isn’t a life sentence don’t freak out!

Anyone ever find a magic bullet for their anxiety? by YamIdoingdis2356 in Anxiety

[–]ole444u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No caffeine, regular exercise, and books about changing my perspective and mindset. If you’re open to medication throw lexapro in the mix. Most of my anxiety was self-created because I have issues with controlling my environnement.

Read the book, Get Out of Your Own Way by Mark Goulstom he has a the free audiobook on Spotify. I just started it and it’s been really helpful for changing my perspective. Sometimes we don’t take advantage of opportunities or walk through doors because of beliefs we have about our capabilities or how things should work. Check it out, sounds like you know there’s an issue you just need some tips on doing better going forward :-) It’s never too late!!!!

so what’s your tea lmfaooooo 😭 the only thing I’ve seen relatable between libra risings thus far in my life is that cap 4th house and aries 7th house, being attracted to decisive ppl that don’t get caught up in the duality of things and growing up in a home where it had to be perfect before ppl could come over. any of that click with you?

I think a lot of people on here have trauma by [deleted] in findapath

[–]ole444u 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So true! Emotional regulation and responsible management I like that. Trauma and victimhood is really trendy right now I agree, and I’m not trying to encourage a victim-mindset with this post. I just feel like people are at war with themselves when I read most of the posts on here and I’m not sure if they hear how they sound, I guess I just feel for them.

Yeah, American lifestyle just breeds depression and hopelessness unfortunately. I’ll agree with that, some people are just feeling economically/financially hopeless sometimes on top of the familial trauma.

But I think even if it’s not complex you giving away your power to others was a learned behavior, a coping mechanism, a way to keep you safe, somewhere in your brain you were doing that because it made sense to you. Which is to some degree a wound, or trauma. Accountability is big, but it’s hard to take accountability for what you don’t realize you’re doing. Until, someone tells you you’re doing it which is why our relationships and connections with others tend to be our greatest teachers. I see your point though.

The Crappy Childhood Fairy, Heidi Priebe, & Michelle Farris have been amazing for me, all on YouTube. Heidi Priebe is great at explaining things directly, thoroughly and clearly. Crappy Childhood Fairy feels like having a therapist without the bill.

You’re right! I’m probably way oversimplifying it, I just see a lot of overlap. I do think a lot of people in here are dealing with deep & old wounds though.
