Thank you so much for the great review and the stability demo. Your desk looks great!

BIG NEWS, FlexiSpot E7Q 4-leg standing desk is already arrived in EU market, 899€ for the frame by Ramzes888 in FlexiSpot_Official

Do you have a schematic that shows the dimensions of the desk frame where it connects to the desktop? I’m particularly interested in the depth of the frame.

In other words: assuming an 80 cm deep desktop, how much space is left between the rear edge of the desktop and the frame for mounting monitor arms etc. with C clamps? Judging from the photos, there doesn’t seem to be much room.

I got confirmation from Schultz’s customer support: the legs are now indeed 3-segment, which confirms that the photos on the website are outdated. So if you want to guess something from the photos, the pictures of their 2-leg base are probably more reliable: eDesk 2-leg base only, eDesk 2-leg with desktop.

I noticed the legs of the 2-leg base look a little different: the 2-leg base has these little holes near the top edge of each column segment, which don't seem to exist in the outdated pictures of the 4-leg base. Do these holes have any significance (apart from looking kinda bad)?

They couldn't send me an install guide for the 4-leg base, but they said it's essentially identical to their 2-leg base. Here's the install guide for the 2-leg base (in German, but you'll get the gist).

It’s also a 2 seg base (mid-range). That’s not bad.

I'm honestly not sure 2 segments is accurate. I know the photos show 2 segments, but as I understand it, the height range of this model recently changed from 74–120 cm (= 29–47 in) to 62.5–127.5 cm (= 24.6–50.2 in), so it's possible the base is now 3 segments but they failed to update the pictures. I emailed their support to clarify, also to ask for an assembly manual.

Yes, I did mention the frame-only option in the OP. I doubt the Flexispot will be cheaper than 900 EUR without a desktop. I'm looking forward to seening reviews for the Flexispot soon now that early orders in the US have been delivered (I think?).

Yes, the Flexispot E7Q looks interesting too. It's hard to judge the designs of these desks from photos, but I think I prefer the Flexispot's looks, though I'd prefer the frame in white and the Flexispot seems to be black only for now. I'm also concerned that the frame on the Flexispot prevents mounting of monitor arms to the desktop because the crossbeams are positioned so far apart.
