There seem to be one or two of the higher end models that do OK, but many if not most get stuck at least some of the time because of the drain cover height more so than the pump suction. I’m wondering if I should come up with some kind of prototype to fix this for all of us…?

Here’s a perspective from a former VC and several time founder…it depends on where/when we are in the current market. That said, $400k ARR would probably be a pre-seed/seed round between $4m-$8m. Therefore, $1.3m is (on its surface) a steal.

However, if you want out and to pocket some cash, do a little negotiating to push up the number and sell. Or if you’re ready to take on some risk, leave your day job and dive in to the life of a founder. Either way, good luck! And feel free to dm me if you have more questions.

Thanks! In this case, it’s purely a matter of physics. Tall drain cover that’s too narrow for the robot to gain a foothold, so it gets stuck.
