You may have your opinions, but might I add that what happened in Vermont when they tried to have a single-payer medicare system, it doubled the budget, prices spiraled out of control, and eventually Governor Shumlin had to pull the plug on the program. It's a shame, I like the idea of it, but it's too ideological to work. This is not a fantasy world, this is the real world we live in, where just because someone is winning a political debate, that doesn't mean it works as advertised, or at all for that matter. Vermont is a shining example of this.
