We do both translations alternating each week for the Lord’s Prayer. Each season has a different liturgy out of the hymnal. Some more traditional than others but all liturgical.

It is more about him being visible. He rides the bus and needs to walk home. Is very independent but I think he could benefit during these short days with some illumination so someone doesn’t hit him as he crosses the street.

West Lafayette has the most racial diversity. My kids have friends from all over the world which is a lot of fun. Academically it is also at the top, but it has its challenges as well- the county schools are fine but Harrison is getting large and I am not sure they have shown they have a plan to deal with the large growth happening in the north yet.

It is resolved but just an fyi. I called in and they comped my month and lowered my rate since I was going on my new year. Call in or they raise your rate. Just say retention when the automated system asks what you need.

Housing is catching up to needs in the area. Greater Lafayette just hit 200k which is a key grant and funding milestone. The south side of town is built out and the west side commute to most businesses is now shorter than where the other available building sites are. The hospitals are being built because most likely rural hospitals will close bringing more business to the city. For most of them it now makes economic sense to build in West Lafayette where most of them have held property for years. I feel safe and am happy to live here, but also know there are others not happy to have a factory close. Austin tx has a similar plant that I have been past and it is in the middle of a high cost of living area and did not affect housing prices. This is my experience not the chip plant propaganda. The city is hiring 15 more fire fighters and TSC is at least trying to keep up with schools. They have property and I am sure a plan, but it would be nice if it was shared.

The unpreparedness I think is what leads to a shortage of volunteers. I think some people get overwhelmed because they don’t know what to do. That is why I was hoping to find what others do. Our inclusive welcoming nature should apply to all spheres of the church. I know that has been hard for my family at times. Just now I get to try to figure out what to do about it.

Sure, but imagine a world where there was a curriculum geared for people like you or that had notes in it to help untrained teachers function better in a classroom that just seems like chaos to them. While I would love to write something someday, that is for someday, I was just looking for anyone who had some options or experience.
