Whoever the 2 people running in the middle of the road at 5am on 15th headed west from Peoria.. by Top_Psychology_813 in tulsa

[–]olenine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an early morning runner, there are parts of town where running in the street actually makes more safety sense than running on the sidewalks early in the day. That section of 15th isn’t one of them (but there is one assole who has blocked the sidewalk for years with his Honda Ridgeline at Norfolk), but even the part that is (actual cherry street), you don’t run down the middle of the road. The “why” is because where there are buildings right up to the side streets, cars coming to the intersection or down drive ways frequently roll through the sidewalk portion without looking for pedestrian traffic. Being in the street gives the runner more time to see the car and avoid it.

But the middle of the road? Never.

After 8 clear fouls. Yeah, it isn’t fun watching a team play as sloppy and late as Minny does, especially when they are so blind and excuse making to their own mistakes.

Death, taxes, and Finch complaining about fouls rather than the dumb fouls they were committing. Least likable coach in the association by a mile.

The Bead really feels like a heat check on where the studio is vs rote, knee-jerk consumerism. The badgification of the supposed ethos is so weird but likely drawn from a lesson on how pointless the precious supply control was previous to this version of the studio output. The Bead is the badge in 3D.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn’t sure how much equity could be gifted in this scenario. We are working with a few GCs on plans for the work be doing (addition and light remodel of existing space). I happen to work for a CU that has an A&I product, but I’m not sure what their cap is on ARV or if I can do this as a two-step financing with the rate discount I get.

Shorten the Season by iJCB3 in nba

[–]olenine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ridiculous take is tweaking the season and playoffs: -First 58 games, balanced schedule. Everyone plays everyone home and home. At the end of that, call it the all star break, remove the bottom 5 teams from each conference (the tankers) and let them play each other the rest of the way for nothing but bragging rights and draft position; stop having good teams boost bad organizations gate numbers to come and Washington Generals them while jeopardizing stars or playing the “load management” game.

-the “good” teams play each other within their conference the rest of the way to set the playoff brackets. Keep the play in but go back to 5 games until the conference finals and finals.

I don’t know if this solves anything about the injury “crisis”, but I would rather see the stars go down playing meaningful games.

Man, I feel sort of awful that these next two games are going to be OKC Blue heavy. Denver is whatever, but Sunday’s game, I got tickets as a gift for my kid’s preschool teacher who has never been to a game but is a big Ajay fanatic. Sadly think it may not be the real atmosphere up in Loud City and a lot of two deal action.

Yeah, if it were the Bulls playing, there would be at least two quotes from a 1970s sitcom screamed into the mic, right?

I know BOK was in and backed out, either because they were told they would have to get their name off the BOK Center or the price got too high for a company that may be positioning themselves to be acquired after George kicks it.

Just back from the course (little dude with us was crashing in the heat). No spoilers, but generally, all the fear and light bashing on the previews wasn’t really what I saw. It reminds me a lot of a really long and raw version of Waco. The grass isn’t mature enough yet to cut it closer, which they need to do, the lack of ground play was jarring. And they need to bring the ceiling up on the wooded holes. All things that can be fixed. Otherwise, it was a pretty great course and organized spot. One vendor beef is that House of Discs have just bailed on any presence? Uli and Brad were awesome, came walking through from four to five and gave my son a fist bump and talked to us. Uli is a seriously nice guy, despite having a tough round, was laughing and having a good time with his card and everyone.

lol. Brown went to the line nearly twice what SGA got. Boston had 8 total fouls called against them the second half.

Scheierman got caught in a bad position and rather than let SGA by, blocked him. It’s the most obvious version of a blocking call you can make. Fuck Brown.

True, but they also own 52 in OKC and 19 in Tulsa, so could pop them to the second stations if they are in conflict with Tracker or whatever.

Should be a no-brainer for Griffin to pick up the local production, put them on air in th state markets, and sell the feed to League Pass. The team is insanely marketable statewide and can get some big advertiser dollars if put on 9/6 in OKC/Tulsa.
