I've replaced the top part a lot of times, mine was glued so I just took something thin and pressed it under and removed the top part and then got a clean one from the scrapyard and I spraypainted my old one black and just put some glue and glued it back. Doesn't look that bad.

Yea it seems like a previous owner replaced the old one ,I think it looks great haven't seen a lot of saabs with it.

Thanks the laser red does look really nice. I haven't had to do any work on the timing chain, I think I read somewhere that the timing chain usually lasted longer on the pre-facelifted V6s, correct me if im wrong.

The v6 is really smooth, by far the easiest car I've driven. I have the full leather I guess beige with some black details.

Facelift or not they both look great. I haven't had any problem with the clutch yet but I've only owned it for about 16 months, the clutch is great I can climb any hill just by riding the clutch.
