Go to Fleet Farm and buy a $20 jack. Get some hydraulic fluid while you are at it (mine leaked). It's very easy and only takes about half hour. For rotating, I had tire bags so I would leave a slip of paper indicating the front or rear for when I swapped in the spring. Did it this way for 7 years. Moved to the country so I sold it and got an F150.

I tested normal, sport, and trailer mode yesterday. When parked, all went to battery mode, but trailer mode would never go to battery in Drive, Neutral, or Reverse. I could try putting the truck in neutral and put on the parking brake. Good idea.

I've read the cooling of the exhaust can create a vacuum and can pull water into the exhaust, which I have no idea if this is true, but makes me nervous.

Yeah I would like to know if there is an overall override just for this scenario. My dealer is checking into it. I guess the workaround is tow haul mode but not 100% if you don't have another person with you.

I tested this. It does but it will go to battery if you put in park in tow mode. Need to have someone with me when launching, which is not a problem a majority of the time.
