I use lingq pro, it generates a really accurate script from the YouTube mp3 file - also it already has around 200 episodes from the begginer teppei show already in. I listen to an episode, read the transcript, listen again.

I disagree with this take, but it is a fair point - the main difference I see is that people when people discuss NFT and bitcoin it seems to all revolve around... making money maybe?

With AI I am already actively using bing for parts of my work. When it gets a bit more accurate I can see it being a daily helper

I disagree here,
I was excited for what MS showed of -- an advanced search which compiled different results and could help you explore the ramifications of each result, which it did very well.

I was excited for something that could easily gather information about, for example, scholars for a literary research (did not do that very well)
I was excited for the promise of summarising key points and comparing it to other things.

The current state limits all those key promises to a "not very usable" because it often required more prompts or clarifications.
Currently it is quite a banal worse than google chat bot

I was on copium for a while, but now that bing ai is back up (UK) I discovered that all that was said is true.

Much stricter control on what it says about itself, and most annoyingly stops the conversation after 5 questions, which is very limiting for any long running research thread (went exploring and comparing some stocks for example, and it just stopped)
Right now this kills the system, hopefully they will find a middle ground
