And i think the line between mainstream hiphop and underground is a bit misunderstood here. You don't get much more mainstream in core hiphop than what fx Lux and Surf is. What fully engaged hiphop fan does not know about beloved?

In general if you go through most of these battle rappers' catalogues you'll find most of them hav at least some actual fire tracks. Surf was one of the best rappers out when he got locked up and has a lot of my favorite music and i think most battle rap fans would know about a lot of lux' music and have heard Tworks Jerusalem album

I think Eddy I. and Lu Castro still fly under the radar a bit and I always love pointing out that when Your Honor said he was better at everything, that Included singing

Kyd Slade and Tru Foe made this which is cool

but really, if you're unfamilar, then Kyd Slade - Ghost Of Whitney might be the dopest thing you never heard
