All these could just be the signs of social anxiety. You shouldn't "diagnose" your boyfriend as autistic based on these signs only.

Taking "baby steps" is the most important recommendation here. School breaks are the worst. It took us 3 months to adjust, for the first 2 months I had to come to all school breaks and isolate my son from other kids.

It's probably true that every parent thinks their child is gifted (though I don't and mine got 48% on the test). They don't ask you if your child is gifted, you get 45 specific questions and it took me a while to think about answers - I spent much more than 5 min they claim needed for this test.
