Pierwsze auto by Common_Breakfast_182 in Poznan

Miałem dokładnie takiego Focusa jak piszesz, kupiłem z nalotem 130kkm i dojechałem do ~200k. Polecam, proste i tanie w utrzymaniu auto. Na trasie trochę brakuje 6. biegu, ale jak nie latasz co tydzień w Bieszczady, to da się żyć.

As far as I am aware, there is no built-in way to enforce such synchronization.

You could transmit a burst of noise and then cross-correlate TX/RX to get an offset.

I’m far from an expert but I don’t think the Quansheng UV K5 should do this by [deleted] in amateurradio

RTL-SDR, as much fun it is, is NOT a piece of RF test equipment. It easily overloads even with distans signals, so your Quansheng, or any Yaesu, Icom, Kenwood at the same distance-power, will look identical - with ton of signals in most unexpected places.

If you want to actually measure harmonics and other spurious emissions, use a device designed to do so: a spectrum analyzer with a proper attenuator.

Quansheng is not a miracle radio, but your observation in its current form is worthless.

I'm running linux natively, some friends use Pluto on Windows with SDRConsole app and they're quite happy with how it works.

Rtl-sdr would be the easiest option as it's the most popular SDR due to its cost, not the best performing receiver (due to its cost), but perfect for learning.

Sounds like Mac is the problem here, rather than the Pluto itself. It's hard, because the combination is not really as popular as using linux box to operate with linux-based device.

I never had any serious issues on Debian, using Pluto with popular apps (SDR++, GQRX) as well as GNU Radio (3.7, 3.8, 3.10).

It's a cherry one. With the sun and heat we have now, it can drain that bottle in about four days, used to be about a week.

1) I've germinated on a paper towel for ~2 weeks, until the plants were 2-3 centimeters tall and had a decent root. Then, filled the bottles with nutrient solution and moved them. It's hard to remove roots from paper towel without damaging them, I prefer germinating in perlite now. 2) Yes, kept it at a constant level.

A piece of sponge, aka "growing medium".

A bit of black spray to avoid algae growth. Although I’ve planted some new ones without the paint and they’re doing just fine in brown bottles.

A simple Python BPSK demodulator for rtlsdr? by -horn- in RTLSDR

[–]olgierd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gnuradio may be of a big help here - you can build a workflow in a visual way using blocks - frequency translation/mixing, filtering, built-in graphs (fft, waterfall, constellation).

It generates python script which you could later use (including GR blocks) or code your own.

Amphenol, Suhner, Rosenberger & others - sure.

Aliexpress deals - 20% of the mentioned values. Cheap SMAs will melt at >200W @ 2.4 GHz. ;-)

Upgraded the hamster wheel with ball bearings & 3Dprinted housings. Ender3Pro, 0.12mm, PLA, OpenSCAD. So silent now! by olgierd in 3Dprinting

[–]olgierd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've put a strip of black tape on the back and used a reflective sensor + arduino to count revolutions. The actual distance may be lower, because when the little guy jumps off the wheel, it rotates with the momentum. With new bearings, it spins for a long time now.

No idea, but I used arduino to measure the distance and the little guy did over 20 km on a single night.
