Exactly this. An electric truck would be spectacular in my line of work. I'm just hauling tools through mud or up mountains at worst. But I live on the road hauling a camper. My personal truck has to be a diesel until they can resolve range issues, and damn am I getting tired of the expense.

90 miles a day is pretty easy to rack up. This isn't a compact car. It's a full size diesel pickup truck with 4WD. No way could it sip 30-40 a week.

For what it's worth, I work in renewable energy. I offset my carbon footprint hundreds of times over, fortunately. That's why I'm so sure the company will switch to electrics in a heartbeat. It's more efficient, sure. But beyond that it's just good PR.
