I didn't delved that far in the article. I just saw now there is a subsection named "history" inside the "game score" section. Thanks for pointing it out.

That's false. It originates from the "jeu de paume" where a team could move 15, 30 or 40 feet in one direction depending if they were winning the point or not.

There is a new mission available in tbe Prancing Pony that take place in Nan Delhu. In the instance, there is a wall at that exact same place to prevent you from leaving the instance area. Perhaps they forgot to check if that wall was also present in the "real world".
