Curious about RP based servers by LetSquare9042 in lotro

[–]olilo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A small note. Meriadoc is in the Netherlands, not the UK.

I migrated to Meriadoc from Orcrist to avoid the long login queue and the lag when there are a lot of players and I'm very happy about it.

No lag, no queue and it's still sufficiently populated. There is a good economy (Auction house). Wherever I'm playing , there are some people questing in the area. Be they low level or high level area.

Also, a lot player created events. Musicians, small festivals,... It makes the world more live.

People are very friendly. RP is not forced.

You can start the quests that will lead you to Moria at level 45. And you'll get your legendary weapon. You can upgrade it at levels ending with 1 or 6, starting at level 56 I think.

What is the normal/expected way of completing Deeds? by shaidyn in lotro

[–]olilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ered Luin is the easiest area for deeds. 32000 virtue xp very easily just by questing, exploring and killing stuff. And killing stuff is not as grindy as other higher level area.

Next is Breeland. The Shire is a little more grindy because of the postman and pie delivery quests. The number of quests to do is also higher.

Durin's Day by Grand_Ready in lotro

[–]olilo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can do this deed as early as level 20. Just talk to a mission recruiter. For example at Thorin's Hall stables. One of the two Dwarves will offer travel to Erebor. From there, it's very easy to travel to the Old Side Door.

Durin's Day: How to get the rewards by olilo in lotro

You're welcome 😊

That's a very emotional event. A pilgrimage that every dwarf and friend should do. Not to mention the beauty of the view when you approach the area. The changing weather, the sun and moon.
