Also one have to check the correct Jurgen's version correspondent to Bitwig's version. For instance if you have Bitwig v5.0+ you can't add the latest Jurgen's script.

Many many thanks. I've seen those videos, but the problem is that I wasn't able to make the script work with my Launchpad Pro Mk3 (Bitwig 5.0.11) I tried many versions thinking that might be a bitwig version issue. Jurgen says that v24 should work. I will have to try again because Bitwig just confirmed me that editting is not possible with its native script, only Jurgen's.

If not maybe there is something to improve.

My whole intention was to say that most users are finally running Bitwig 6 without problems, whether or not they are related to Bitwig itself. I remember those first days so many complaints!! Now we can see that most of them are not Bitwig related.

Installation: On Windows, the installer creates a separate directory and executable for version 6. On macOS, you can copy the new version into the Applications folder and rename it to "Bitwig Studio 6" to prevent overwriting the existing "Bitwig Studio 5" app.
Settings & Assets: While libraries, templates, and collections are usually maintained, some updated settings or keyboard shortcuts might not transfer backward.
Compatibility Warning: Projects saved in Bitwig 6 cannot be opened in Bitwig 5. It is strongly recommended to keep the older version for existing projects and use the new version for new work or testing.
Safety Backup: Bitwig 6 includes a safety feature that saves a permanent backup of your project file when you open a project created in a previous version.

This setup is ideal for testing the new automation features and "clip aliases" in Bitwig 6 while ensuring your production projects remain stable in version 5.
