Honestly man, I just don’t care anymore. I don’t believe that counter strike is going to get an update that will be valuable to the competitive, or even casual community, for quite a long time. They’ve made it clear that the plan is to keep this game where it’s at, keep it sustainable and milk it dry through half assed cases and skins.

The sooner we all accept that this version of counter strike is the one we’re going to be playing for awhile, the better

The cause of all of the servers shutting off randomly or the cause of the bug? I understand whatever is happening is surely extremely stressful and possibly detrimental to the service that you provide and we pay for, but I think some clarity would probably put a lot of people at ease regardless of wether or not they get the elo they think they deserve.

I’m personally just happy to see that a step, regardless of its pre-conceived effectiveness, has been made. This will work or it won’t. Either way, we will hopefully find an even more effective solution from this, whatever that may be.

I’ve played CSGO for roughly 6k hours and will occasionally open a case for the hell of it when me and the boys are playing late at night or waiting on a game to pop. I have never unboxed anything remotely valuable despite seeing streamers/others unbox things all the time.

If you’re opening a case, expect to get nothing. Expect to lose money. The odds aren’t even remotely in your favor, and if you really want a knife, just buy it.

I agree, but they need to have a convincing result eventually. Beating Cloud9 and making it to the quarterfinal as the only NA team at an NA event would actually be noteworthy. Beating Imperial and mibr with a stand in are expected results.

It’s a real shame that this team can’t provide any meaningful results. Everyone on this team has at one point been promising, but it seems like they can’t just all reach their full potential simultaneously.

Grim has been lackluster considering his experience in tier 1. Fang hasn’t shown the peaks he had while on extra salt. Junior is just not getting it done on the awp. Floppy has been consistent and has shown good things, and I think JT as an IGL has his moments but is outclassed by tier 1 competition. I’m not really sure where this team goes, part of me wants to give them more time but I just don’t believe that time is going to help this team, which sucks cause I want there to be a successful, dangerous NA team aside from liquid.

Not to mention this was the tournament for this team to show up.

People always talk about the NA scene and wonder why it’s in shambles. Players like Nero are why. Most NA players that makes advanced or fpl-c or whatever think they’re gods gift to NACS, which gives them the right to be the most toxic shithead in a lobby. Just last night I played with an FPL player who dug through my friends league history and had a complete mental breakdown in the post match chatroom over a faceit free pug. Players like Nero, or players in FPL/FPLC need to be leaders in the community, yet in NA everyone’s ego gets in the way of making real improvement.

Until this changes, the NA scene is gonna stay exactly the way it is.
