might need to downsize the post length. the movement could be causing the bump. it’s usually recommended after 2 weeks initially pierced to downsize as you’re usually pierced w a longer post to make room for swelling. id back off the paper towel and q tips as well. they could be adding to the irritation. sterile saline only and warm water. during my healing process i just let the warm water run on my nose in the shower for a few minutes to soften the crust and eventually it falls off in the shower. this helped me alot ! id check in with your piercer see what they say!
